Hiring a doula means having a dedicated support person by your side through one of the most life changing experiences you will ever go through. A doula provides emotional, physical, and educational support throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum! Whether it’s helping you feel informed about your options, encouraging you during labor and providing comfort measures, or helping you rest and recover after birth a doula is there to help you feel seen, heard, prepared, and empowered every step of the way!
Birth and postpartum can feel so overwhelming, especially with so much information and pressure surrounding motherhood today. Having a doula means you will not have to navigate it alone. My heart as a doula will always be to create a calm, supportive, judgment free space where mothers feel confident in their own choices and supported through every season of motherhood.
Every woman deserves compassionate care, encouragement, advocacy, and support during motherhood. Sometimes the greatest gift you can give yourself is having someone there to pour into YOU while you focus on your baby

Does a doula replace a doctor or a midwife? No. I will work alongside your healthcare provider, not in place of them. I do not perform medical procedures or make any medical decisions for you. I will help you understand your options, provide comfort measures, advocate for your birth preferences and capture the beautiful fleeting moments with my camera!
What is your philosophy on birth? I believe birth is one of God's most beautiful designs! In most healthy pregnancies, a woman's body was wonderfully created with the innate ability to grow, birth, and nourish her baby without the need of any intervention. I believe birth to be a natural and physiological process that often unfolds best when mothers are supported, informed, and allowed the time and space to follow their body's natural God given design. This is why I'm especially passionate about supporting families planning home births and birth center births, where the natural rhythm of labor can often be protected and honored with minimal interruption. I do believe interventions have an important time and place when they are truly needed. Every mother deserves evidence-based information, informed consent, and the freedom to make the decisions that feel right for her and her baby without any fear or pressure. My role is never to make decisions for you...it's to provide compassionate support, education, and encouragement so you can approach your birth with confidence, peace, and trust in both your body and your choices!
Do you support hospital births, birth centers, and home births? Absolutely! I support families planning hospital births, birth center births, and home births. My goal is to support your birth choices no matter the location in a respectful and empowering way.
Do you offer payment plans? Yes! I believe every family deserves access to quality support. Payment plans are available to make doula care + photography an option for every family.
Do you take insurance? Not at this time, but I am hoping to have that option available very soon!
